Today is the official launch of Consumer Connect. I am happy to say I just completed my first round of phone calls with consumers. Notably, I spoke with a veteran in New York who was happy with the process and told me a lot about his journey over the past year of purchasing his first home. Regrettably, I learned a lot about a consumer who put their faith in us in our Own It Home Loans division to do the purchase of their home that didn’t go as smoothly as anticipated. I can already see the benefits of connecting with consumers to ensure a better experience for all. I am excited for what the road ahead with Consumer Connect will teach me about problems in our industry, inefficiencies at our company and ways of making home purchase and refinance a smoother more efficient process.
